One of the things I love about running is you can kind of know people without ever having met them.  One of these people is a fellow named Jason Zakarias.  He lives in Omaha and he and another friend, Tim McCargill, ran the Pocatello 50 miler 10 days ago.

I have made no secret that I am intrigued by this element of running.  We’ll see how that plays out over the years.  But this post is not about me and my thoughts on trail running.  I will cover that at a later time.
