On a running note here are some images and a story to get you through your weekend.  Hope you have some good miles!

Went to a race in Plattsmouth Wednesday night.  Torrential rain, but a really fun time.  Super low key race, $5 entry fee, won me a 6-inch sub from Subway.  Sweet.  Afterwards a person I respect both in his coaching and running was cooling down with some of his runners.  He pointed to me and said something along the lines of “if you want to run a smart race, run with him”.  I don’t want to name this guy, but suffice it say he has been around for awhile.  Thanks buddy, a compliment is always nice.  But even more so from someone you look to.
