I have always been of the opinion that distance running/runners have a requirement that somewhere embedded in their DNA or brains or slow-twitch muscles is some sort of off kilter mentality. I mean, let’s face it to do what we do, you have to have something a LITTLE bit wrong with you. Enter the hot dog suit:
Admittedly, I need to give this back this upcoming summer. But last summer I ran a 5k for the Cornhusker State Games involving the suit you see above. It made another appearance just recently as a result of a bet between myself and some of my runners. Watch below to see how it turns out.
Glad the suit is getting good use. I don’t think CSG will need it back. So maybe it becomes a NS tradition.
